1150-42-1 centrifugal compressor type is used for compressing and supplying nitrous gas to equipped production line of low concentration nitric acid , and for heat recovery from process gas. . It is a constituent part of complex machine КМА – 2(М) set
Mode of blower’s operation is continuous –(24 hours a day). Interrepair operating period – not less than 329 days (7887 hours in a year).
Composition of nitrous gas inflowing to the nitrous gas compressor, in vol.%
- Nitrogen N2– 87.2
- Nitrogen dioxide NО2– 5.1
- OxygenО2– 4.5
- Nitrogen oxide NО– 1.5
- Water vapour– 1.1
Nitrous gas contains nitric acid and ammonium nitrite in aerosol form and dropping nitric acid in the amount up to 5% of weight flow.
Gas is toxic, non-explosive and exerts strong corrosion effect on metal.
