Competitive advantages and design features of Aero-SM 
 

  • By design, Aero-SM is a modular single-stage blower, without liquid lubricating and cooling systems, with modern automatic control and protection system (ACS). It is arranged on a flat concrete area
  • Use of a high-speed electric motor with 8000 rev/min rotational speed as the drive is its principal design feature
  • The electric motor has an additional cooling fan. A frequency converter which delivered with the motor controls the blower by  changing the rotary speed of impeller
  • Inlet regulatory vanes (IRV) are arranged before impeller to expand control range of the blowers
  • An axle radial semi-open impeller is fixed on the motor shaft with the key and little interference 
  • The impeller is made from machined workpiece of wrought aluminum alloy; it determines light weight of impellers and long in-service-life of electric motor bearings
  • There are some ridges of the labyrinth seal on the back surface of the impeller  and on the side cover. Design of the seals ensures minimal outflow of compressed air (not more than 1%), precludes wear of ridges during operation,  keeping work stable
  • The diffusor is vane type with welded covering shroud. A rubber seal is installed in a groove between the covering shroud and the side cover, which excludes inner diffuser leakage
  • So design features ensure high reliability, efficiency and competitiveness of Aero-SM blowers
